Nick Cobb - Food and Wine Guy

Nick Cobb is wine broker and sales consultant based in Watertown, Ma. His Ancient Vines portfolio, consisting of artisanal production wines from ancient varieties, is imported by Stellar Imports in New York.

In addition to his Greek wines, Nick represents the Vineyard Road Portfolio in Massachusetts. Vineyard Road is a leading distibutor of fine and rare wines as well as wines from leading growers from traditional and emerging subregions of France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Portugal.

Nick was born and raised with a passion for food and wine. His full time involvement in wine ended a thirty-year career in the restaurant industry. Among his clients as a consultant during the early 1990s were the Elephant Walk Restaurants in Somerville and Boston (where he first met Gerard Lopez).

Nick has written extensively about the wines of Greece and is a leading authority on the traditional cuisines of Greece and of the Greeks of Asia Minor.
