Chef George Anbinder

Gordon’s Culinary Center is pleased to welcome Chef George Anbinder to our culinary center. Chef George is a graduate of the Culinary Arts Program at Johnson & Wales University and has spent many years as a culinary educator. He began is culinary educator’s career in Newbury College’s Culinary Arts Program as a Chef Instructor and went on to become the chair of the department. In addition to Newbury College he also taught Culinary Arts at North Shore Community College.

 

Chef George has taught classes in American Cuisine, International Cuisine, Soups Stocks and Sauces, and Basic as well as Advanced Garde Manger. In addition to his teaching, Chef George has been engaged as a restaurant reviewer and consultant to some well know firms.

 

Chef George has traveled across this country as well as France, Switzerland, Portugal and Italy, dining at and analyzing restaurants that included Michelin-rated food destinations.

He has also visited major vineyards in France and California adding these experiences into his teaching. Chef George’s theme for his classes is “Cooking with Confidence.”
