Sommelier Smackdown!

In May, we recommenced this signature event and we're keeping the party going - the 3rd Thursday of every month. 

 

This time you be the judge: Sommelier Smackdown

 

Who has the sharpest nose, an impeccable, palate, the widest breadth of knowledge for all things food & wine….find out at the Sommelier Smackdown! If you think Sommeliers are all frilly, posh, and high-brow, think again. On this night, the sleeves will be rolled up, the corks popped, and the pairing wars will begin! Iron Chef Louis DiBiccari and Ian Grossman of Sel de la Terre will be cooking/mediating while the winner of the July Smackdown, Theresa Paopao of Oleana will go up against the "challenger," Todd Lipman of Bin 26 Enoteca. Both will be grappling for the satisfaction and agreement of your taste buds. Four courses, 8 wines, two wines with each course….you be the judge of who is the master of food & wine pairing. Let the games...begin!

The winner of this smackdown will go up against a challenger on Thursday, October 15th (skipping September). The Sommelier Smackdown events will continue as so, the 3rd Thursday of every month. Don't miss it!
