Oyster & Wine "Shuck Fest" with Island Creek

The first ever "Shuck Fest" at Gordon's! Join us for an afternoon of mollusk madness! The folks from Island Creek Oysters, New England's leader in oyster wholesale and farming, will be setting up shop in the culinary center, shucking the afternoon away, while you: "slurp. taste. swallow. repeat." And it wouldn't be a complete GFWCC event without some oyster-worthy wines. We have rounded up a collection of what we consider the best wines to pair with oysters, from 5 different suppliers. Horizon, Carolina, WJ Deutsch, Vineyard Road, and Croney Estates will all be represented, and they'll be showing a combined 25+ wines from Champagnes, Sauvignon Blancs, Muscadets, Pinot Blancs, Chablis, and more.
